YX140 Type S Edition Engine

The Type S engine is unique to our company.
 
Due to the significant demand for engines within the BHP regulations for the British Mini Bike Championship that don't require extra parts once purchased we decided to build an entry level engine for customers straight off the shelf within an affordable budget.
 
We carry out all the addtional engine spec changes in house.
 
Valves are seated and lapped correctly. Valve timing and ignition timing are then preset to our data. Once assembled engines are compression tested to ensure they meet the correct requirements. Electrics are also tested before dispatch.
 
This specification engine was tested using the onsite Dyno machine that test competitors at the championship events and on the day found to be 14.99BHP at the wheel.

YX140 Generation 3 engine.
Race adjustable digital ignition.
Drilled alluminium sump plug.
Z40 Camshaft fitted.
0.3mm Race head gasket.
NGK Spark plug.
Stronger valve springs fitted.
Valves seated correctly.
Drilled crankcase for lockwire.
Drilled dipstick for lockwire.
Exhaust Gasket.
Engine wiring and CDI.
Manifold & fittings.
Kickstart & gear lever.
Manual 4 speed gearbox.
Kickstart type only.
 
Please Note:
All changes made are within the BMB rules.
Dyno figures may fluctuate between engines, estimate between 14.50-15.20 BHP so it is always advised to have tested and adjusted at the race events to be within the rules.
Wiring loom and CDI must be used that is supplied.
Advise to use a mikuni vm26 carb (130main, 27.5pilot)
