YX Close Ratio Gearbox Kit - Road Race
 
This gearbox has a longer ratio 1st & 2nd gear which allows for a better race start as 1st gear is less aggressive and also then allows the use of 2nd gear at some tight circuit hairpins as the ratio is longer, resulting in the RPM will not be as high when compared to using a standard ratio 2nd gear in the hairpins. 
 
Road Race Gearbox Ratio (Counter/Main):
1st = 34/13 (Ratio 2.61)
2nd = 29/17 (Ratio 1.70)
3rd = 23/17 (Ratio 1.35)
4th = 21/20 (Ratio 1.05)
 
Standard Gearbox Ratio (Counter/Main):
1st = 36/11 (Ratio 3.27) 
2nd = 31/16 (Ratio 1.93)
3rd = 23/17 (Ratio 1.35)
4th = 21/20 (Ratio 1.05)

Will NOT fit ZONGSHEN Z155 Engine
MUST BE FITTED BY A PROFESSIONAL
ALWAYS FIT NEW SHIFT FORKS WITH NEW GEARBOX
SHIMMING MAY BE REQUIRED
IF CUSTOMERS ARE NOT USING THE CLUTCH FOR UPSHIFTING THEN THE LIFESPAN OF THIS ITEM WILL BE REDUCED.
