We have taken new out of the box engines apart to inspect the valve to valve guide guide clearances to find them at the limits again new out of the box.
 
Once installed our kit ensures your valves will be in spec reducing the odds of engine failure while adding more power with oversized intake valves.

Valves in rebuild kit are shorter than OEM Daytona Valves. This is to allow for valve seats to be cut and establish a true and concentric seating face, as well as to maintain factory Daytona valve protrusion specifications. FAILURE TO CUT SEATS,CHECK VALVE PROTRUSIONS,AND VALVE SPRING INSTALLED HEIGHTS MAY RESULT IN ENGINE FAILURE.
Intake valve head diameter is 0.0196" larger than OEM intake valves. Valve to piston clearance needs to be checked on ALL aplications. FAILURE TO CHECK YOUR VALVE TO PISTON CLEARANCE MAY RESULT IN ENGINE FAILURE.
Valve guides DO NOT come presized. Valve Guides come pre-reamed to 0.175". Reaming/Honing IS required. FAILURE TO ACHEIVE PROPER STEM TO GUIDE CLEARANCE WILL RESULT IN ENGINE FAILURE.
Valve stem to guide clearance specifications. 0.0008"~0.002" INTAKE/EXHAUST.
All dimensions given in inches. To convert inches to millimeters, multiply given inch dimensions by 25.4. Example 1.510" x 25.4 = 38.354mm.
Note:  This kit should be installed by a professional mechanic or shop that offers valve job service as the valve seats must be cut to accept the larger valve head diameters and valves sunk deeper to allow for overlap clearances.
